How did you start photography?
As a kid I used to practice analog photography for a couple of years but stopped in my teenage years. I never stopped being curious and after seeing some Landscape Astrophotography photos online, I decided that I wanted to give it a try and that’s how it started.
Whose work has influenced you most? (Instagram @)
The most influential person at the beginning was (and still is) @nicholasroemmelt

What is the most rewarding part of being a photographer?
The most rewarding part is that I was able to see so many incredible things and take pictures of them back home and hopefully inspire other people to step out of their comfort zone to find their own happy moments.
How do you educate yourself to take better images?
I experiment a lot with new gear and techniques, read a lot, do a lot of research and preparation and try out new editing techniques I see in other photographers’ work.
Are there any tips you can give to new photographers?
Just go out and shoot as much as you can, don’t limit yourself to one genre at the beginning, try out everything. Read and Learn basics about composition, color theory, and different techniques. Try to analyze great works by other photographers to understand why they are great and don’t be afraid to copy them. You will find your own style at some point.

What is/are your fav feature(s) of Laowa 9mm f/5.6 FF RL? Why?
I absolutely love the 9mm f5.6, it’s sharp from 5.6 on and gives you a perspective that no other rectilinear Lens can produce. It gives me the possibility to create unique perspectives that show just more.
Share your memorable experiences while using Laowa 9mm f/5.6 FF RL?
I use this lens whenever I want to transport the viewer into a complete view of a place. This winter I had the chance to photograph a cave hidden in the Mountains near Vienna, fully covered in ice sculptures formed by frozen ground water. Without that lens, it would have been impossible to capture it the way I wanted.
What photographers would you recommend this lens to?
Everyone who wants to create dramatic pictures and always have a bit more of the scene in photos. But be aware, maybe your shows will also be in the photo 😉
