For the 2nd year of the Video Marathon, Laowa is going to reach a new height by inviting ALL OF YOU to join us!

Laowa believes everybody has to start somewhere, and Video Marathon 2022 is ready to be the spacious platform for you to illustrate your brilliant ideas. Laowa hopes to color this marathon with all kinds of creativity, thus, we welcome talent like you, to participate with Laowa and/or any other lenses!

By the time of having retrospect and prospect, Laowa would love to have your story built around the theme – “Lost & Found”. We have no limitation on lenses and genres: realistic or concrete, narrative or music-video, feel free to shock us with your “LOST & FOUND” story.

Any of your past works related to the theme are welcome for submissions, not to mention doing newly inspired “LOST & FOUND” story for us

1. The Marathon is free to enter.
2. The Marathon is open to all members of the public.
3. Entrants are welcome to create the entry video with Laowa AND/OR al other lenses. Please notice extra points will be given to the entrant who used Laowa lens(es) for at least 30 seconds of the entry video.
4. You MUST submit a behind-the-scenes video (at least 15 seconds) and photos (3 or more) to show your use of Laowa lens(es) for the submitted entry video.
5. Entrants are encouraged to create the entry video with the listed sponsors’ products. Please notice that entrants who used the listed sponsors’ products will participate in the Brand Choice category automatically.
6. You MUST submit a behind-the-scene video (at least 15 seconds) and photos (3 or more) to show your use of the listed sponsors’ product(s).
7. The entry video duration will be at least 1 minute to 3 minutes. A longer video is welcome, while we highly recommend you to submit a video within 3 minutes.
8. No genre is limited for the entry video.
9. The 1－3 minute video must be an “original” work of the entrant in relation to Laowa Video Marathon 2022 “Lost & Found”.
10. Video minimum resolution & aspect ratios:1080p, 1920×1080 pixels.
11. We accept file format H.264 (higher definition/resolution) standard.
12. All copyright issues must be resolved before adding audio or background music. Entry is limited to original works for which the entrant holds all applicable rights. Entrants are responsible for the resolution of any legal issues arising from their submitted works and agree to pay any costs thereby incurred.
13. Please complete the application form https://forms.gle/1jumFZSpEEm84EkJ6 ON OR BEFORE 31th March 2023 23:59 HKT. Entry Video and required BTS footage have to be converted into a download link and submit at the specific column in the application form.
14. Tne entrant can submit one video only. Only the latest submission of the entrant will be counted as the sole valid entry.
15. In case of disputes, Laowa’s decision shall be the final decision.

1. Video minimum resolution & aspect ratios:1080p, 1920×1080 pixels.
2. We accept file format H.264 (higher definition/resolution) standard.
3. Entrants should keep at least one copy of their video. Laowa is not responsible for any films that are lost, damaged, or that do not upload properly.
4. Please do not add black bars for the footage.
5. Voice Over is allowed for the video.
6. Please do not add subtitles to the video.
7. Video can be submitted via https://forms.gle/1jumFZSpEEm84EkJ6 starting on 23 December 2022. The deadline of submission is 24 February 2023 23:59 HKT. 

1. Copyrights of all submitted videos belong to Laowa. Laowa reserves the rights to:
   a. use the submitted videos for any making purposes
   b. edit, adapt, use, reproduce, perform, display, and/or distribute all or parts of the content without getting consent from the owner or paying any fees to the entrants.
2. Personal information provided by entrants would be used for the Viedo Marathon only.
3. Laowa reserves all rights to amend the terms and conditions and rules and regulations of the competition without prior notice.
4. Entrants will automatically accept the above terms and conditions once a video is submitted with a completed online form.
5. Content must comply with all local and national laws of the country of origin and Hong Kong. Content must not:
   a. Promote illegal behavior
   b. Support racial, religious, sexual or other invidious prejudice
   c. Advocate sexual or violent exploitation
   d. Violate rights established by law or agreement
   e. Invade the privacy of any person;
   Be otherwise inappropriate as determined by Laowa in its sole and conclusive determination.
6. In case of disputes, Laowa’s decision shall be the final decision.
